Our Mission Statement
Melanin Mass Moms is dedicated to empowering and uplifting moms of color in Massachusetts by fostering community, advocating for equitable maternal health, and providing culturally responsive resources and support. We aim to create safe spaces where Black and Brown moms can thrive, connect, and share their motherhood journey without judgment or barriers.
Motherhood is a journey best traveled with a village, and Melanin Mass Moms is exactly that—a powerful network of support, resources, and sisterhood. From navigating challenges to celebrating wins, this community ensures that no mom walks alone.
As a member, I’ve personally gained so much—wisdom, encouragement, and the reminder that our stories and struggles are shared. Whether it’s lifting each other up, giving back, or simply being seen, Melanin Mass Moms embodies the true essence of motherhood and community.
